The Vienna Cathedral Orchestra consists of musicians from all major Viennese orchestras. The size varies according to the repertoire ranging from chamber music to large symphonic orchestra. Principal first violinist is Wang-Yu Ko.

The cathedral orchestra performs for High Masses and concerts. Most of the times it accompanies the choir, orchestral works are performed on special occasions.
